What does the Zombies word do?
Zombies introduces undead enemies rather than a single wave or falling-object event. A gameplay account shows the undead rising from the ground with a warning to move or get up high.
The main decision is where you can go next. A familiar platform may be useful, but reaching it still matters: a climb on the other side of a crowded route is not an immediate escape.
How to react to zombies
- Move away from the approaching threat before your route narrows.
- Look for nearby height with an accessible way up.
- Check the platform for other active effects before committing to it.
- Keep watching the ground and your exit route while the creatures remain.
Elevation is a response to a ground threat, not an all-purpose shield. A platform that helps against creatures can still leave you exposed to Meteor.
When is Zombies a useful choice?
Consider a creature word when you can keep moving and want to make stationary players react. Before typing it, check whether you have more than one way out of your current area.
If you are already trapped at ground level, another threat may make that situation harder. Fly offers a movement option, while Forcefield provides temporary protection.
Keep the creature threat separate from the round timer
Treat visible enemies as a current problem even after the next Writer takes a turn. That turn change tells you another input is coming; it does not by itself prove that an earlier creature effect has cleared.
There is no measured seconds value in this guide. Base your next move on the enemies and other effects still visible around you.
Frequently asked questions
Should I stop moving after reaching a platform?
Check what remains around you. A perch can help against a ground threat, but another word may change its safety.
Is Zombies a Meta Word?
No. It is an ordinary word choice, unlike slash commands such as /undo that require a separate unlock.
Why does a guide show ZOMBIE instead of ZOMBIES?
Published material uses both the singular warning and the plural name. Check the result and your Word Diary rather than assuming every spelling creates a separate effect.
