Items are separate from words. In the lobby Items menu you spin for items, and the menu says: “Your best 5 go with you into the match.” The details below come from one gameplay video snapshot, so prices and odds may change. Video-observed

Survive Your Ideas items list
The Collection panel in the Items menu is the game’s item index. It shows item names, their rarity and a counter, which read 0/40 in the video, so do not treat 40 as the confirmed total. These 18 item names were readable:

Spin and Lucky spin
A normal Spin was priced at 10,000 Cash in the video. Lucky spin was priced at 35 Robux and labelled “Rare or better”. A green “Buy spins” button was also visible; its prices were not shown. It is not established whether Lucky spin uses the same odds table.
Codes: THANKYOU is reported to give 5 Lucky spins — reported, not tested.

Pity bar
The menu showed a Pity bar at 0/100. How it fills, what it guarantees and when it resets were not shown. Unknown
Loadout: five slots
The menu showed a Loadout counter at 0/5 with five slots, and the line “Your best 5 go with you into the match.” Which items count as “best” and whether you can choose them manually was not shown. Unknown
Items are not words
The Medkit item and typing “medkit” as a word are different things: an item is equipped through the Loadout, while a word is typed by the Writer during a match.
